BECOME A VOLUNTEER FOR PLYMOUTH’S BIG CELEBRATION

America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration is a non-profit  501 c3 organization that relies on the generous support of our sponsors and on the tireless effort of our volunteer staff.  We could not pull off such a large event without the help of our volunteer staff.  Some of volunteers have mentioned the following reasons why they choose to donate their time and efforts to this wonderful event:

  • Great for team building

Volunteer Requirements

Weekend activities

  • Commit to a minimum total of 1 event or job during event weekend, sign up for more hours as you desire
  • Sign up in advance for specific shift times of your choosing, as available.
  • Attend pre-celebration trainings and New Volunteer Orientation.
  • Receive, read, and respond to email. This is our primary mode of communication.

Regular positions within the committee:

  • Commit to a position on the committee
  • Be available to work the entire Celebration period as determined by job assignment (varies).
  • Attend pre-celebration trainings.
  • Receive, read, and respond to email. This is our primary mode of communication.

Volunteer Benefits:Volunteers are essential to the Celebration. We recognize the time they devote to the Celebration and provide benefits to volunteers as a thank you for volunteer service. Benefits are provided in conjunction with the number of hours volunteered and position held.
All Volunteers: 

Celebration  Access:

  • Friday night concert
  • Saturday night concert (first come, first serve as available)
  • Volunteer appreciation events

Benefits

  • One event equivalent to 6 hour shift-Celebration T-Shirt
  • Committee Department head-Celebration pull over long sleeve and embroidered
