Dear Participant:
Thank you for taking part in our celebratory weekend...we truly appreciate your contribution in making these traditional events a resounding success! In an effort to ensure the safety of everyone involved, we ask that you carefully review the following parking and security related guidelines.
Waterfront Security...
This year, as an added benefit, we will again offer a security presence at the Waterfront between 6:00PM Friday, November 20th, and 7:00AM Saturday morning, November 21st. Crafters, food vendors, rein actors, and support personnel capable of setting up on Friday evening should feel free to do so. Pre-setup will eliminate a considerable amount of confusion and traffic on Saturday morning. Note: We will be providing a security presence on the Waterfront from 6:00PM Saturday, November 21st to 8:00AM Sunday, November 22nd for crafters and other participants staying for the weekend.
Lights...Camera...Action...
Out of respect for our performers, we ask that you view the area that makes up the Waterfront as a stage, rather than a state park. This is particularly true of the immediate area surrounding the Review Stand. Crafters, food vendors, rein actors and support personnel should be set up and prepared for the morning’s events by 9:30AM sharp! As is true of any production, we ask that noise be held to an absolute minimum once the performance starts. (10:30AM)
Roads Closed...
The Waterfront area will be referred to as the Red Zone. Roads within the Red Zone will be closed on Saturday morning at 8:30AM. Vehicles left unattended within the Red Zone area after 8:30AM will be towed at the owner’s expense. (Roads/intersections within the Red Zone include Water Street at Union Street, Water Street at North Street, and Water Street at Brewster Street. Refer to the map on this site.) Participants arriving after 8:30AM will not be allowed to set up until after the parade has finished...approximately 1:30PM.
Parking Restrictions...
There will be no parking allowed within the Red Zone...this includes street parking and/or parking on grassy areas...no exceptions!
Crafters, food vendors, and rein actors will be allowed to drop off their equipment and supplies at their respective locations. Once set up has been completed, vehicles must be moved to the Nathanial Morton School, located within a quarter mile of the event site. AHTC personnel will be on hand to assist with directions and guidance with respect to event parking. We ask for your cooperation in advance in making this policy a reality. Arrangements have been made to facilitate the replenishment of supplies. Golf carts will be available to assist crafters and food vendors in these efforts during performances and the actual parade; however, we ask that your initial set up be sufficient to carry you through to approximately 1:30PM. Once the parade has passed it will be easier to facilitate replenishing supplies.
We respectfully request that crafters, food vendors, and rein actors restrict the number of vehicles involved in supporting their efforts to the extent possible. If you require more than one support vehicle, please try to arrive at the Waterfront at the same time. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
Directions (Saturday AM Set-up)...
In an effort to reduce confusion, we ask that you follow the instructions below when arriving on Saturday morning:

- Cross Main Street and proceed towards the Waterfront.
- At the rotary, turn right on Water Street and proceed for approximately a half mile.

- Proceed west on Leyden Street to the traffic light at the top of the hill.
- Turn left on Main Street and continue straight for approximately one quarter mile.
- Turn left on Bradford Street and look for school parking entrance on your right.

Note: Once your vehicle has been parked and secured, you will not be allowed to remove your vehicle until after the parade has passed. Additional public parking information can be found at www.parkplymouth.com.
Thank you!
Again, we appreciate your participation in this special weekend and offer our sincere thanks for your cooperation in keeping this a safe, family event. Our purpose in limiting vehicles within the Red Zone is based solely on the protection of the thousands of spectators who look forward to this event each year. Your cooperation ensures a successful and entertaining day on Plymouth’s Waterfront!
We look forward to greeting you on Friday evening, November 20th, or Saturday morning, November 21st!
Yours in Safety,
