America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration
Event Parking Guidelines

November 20-22, 2009

Our traditional Thanksgiving Celebration attracts tens of thousands of people from all over the South Shore and beyond! We want to remind our parade participants, crafters, vendors and guests that parking along the Plymouth Waterfront is limited and subject to the parking regulations enforced by the town. In an effort to provide guidance to our participants and guests, we ask that you review the following parking guidelines:

  • We ask that you please be respectful of side-street and neighborhood parking. Avoid blocking driveways, refrain from parking on grassy areas, obey restricted area signs, and please avoid blocking intersections.
  • Please be mindful of all downtown parking signs and restrictions.
  • Vehicles parked along the parade route (Court Street and Main Street) are subject to being towed.
  • Parking on Water Street immediately adjacent to the Review Stand Area (RSA) is strictly prohibited! The Review Stand Area consists of Water Street, between Brewster Street and Union Street. (North Street heading to Water Street will also be restricted.)
  • Water Street, as described above, will close to traffic between 8:00AM and 4:00PM on Saturday November 21st.
  • Court Street and Main Street will be closed to traffic between 10:45AM and 1:30PM.
