A highly acclaimed academic and motivational speaker, film producer and United States veteran, Sam has dedicated the last twenty years of his life to understanding, portraying and honoring Ulysses S. Grant. His inspiring and informative visits are entirely first person and all audiences that have engaged him in the past have left with the overwhelming feeling that they have experienced the true General Grant, up close and personal, as history should be. Visit Sam's websites for further information www.usgrant.org  and www.oldcitypoint.com

TESTIMONIALS:   The words of just a few people he has touched through his engagements.

"Visitors were certainly impressed with his authenticity and attention to detail. It is certainly "living history" at its best. I would recommend the General to anyone seeking a unique window into the past. “
Jim O'Brien Program Coordinator of Special Events Old Sturbridge Village

“You felt like you might be called to arms yourself. The feeling of an uncomfortable hero was in every fiber of the very detailed and well crafted talk the General delivered about the closing days of the Civil War.. Tom Daly, the Curator of Education Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA
